About the Artist
Feyyaz İnanç (b. 1954) is a contemporary Turkish artist whose work explores fundamental questions of human existence, time, and space through a deeply reflective figurative practice. In his paintings, the human figure functions not merely as a physical presence but as a vehicle for expressing inner experience, memory, and the complexities of the human condition. His compositions are distinguished by their conceptual depth, inviting viewers into quiet contemplations of identity, solitude, and the passage of time.
Educated at the Istanbul State Academy of Fine Arts, İnanç developed his artistic vision under the guidance of some of Turkey’s leading artists. His practice was further enriched through international experiences, particularly in Europe, where exposure to diverse artistic perspectives expanded and refined his visual language. Balancing figure, space, and surface with remarkable sensitivity, his paintings create environments that engage both the eye and the intellect.
İnanç’s work is recognized for its thoughtful exploration of existential themes and its ability to transform philosophical inquiry into compelling visual form. His consistent artistic practice, combined with a distinctive aesthetic and a profound engagement with the relationship between time, memory, and place, has earned him recognition among collectors and institutions alike. Representing a unique voice within contemporary Turkish art, his works continue to hold enduring artistic and collector appeal.
